Smile Holidays ("we", "us"), operating the VimanPravas platform (vimanpravas.com), is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information.
We collect: (a) Personal details you provide during booking (name, email, phone, date of birth, passport details for international travel, PAN, GST); (b) Payment information processed securely by Razorpay; (c) Usage data such as device information and browsing patterns to improve our services. Only if you accept analytics cookies, a third-party analytics provider records anonymised usage (pages visited, clicks and scrolls) to help us improve the site; it is not loaded if you decline.
When you are signed in, you can save traveller details (name, date of birth, and passport details) so that booking is faster next time. Saving is optional, and you can still book without saving.
Passport details are used only for airline and ticketing needs on international trips. We do not store passport photos or images. Passport details are stored encrypted and shown masked.
We ask for your consent before saving passport details. We record which version of this notice you accepted and when. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us using the contact details below.
Saved traveller details are deleted 30 days after the passport expires, or after 3 years of no activity, whichever comes first. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law require.
Your information is used to: (a) Process flight bookings and issue tickets; (b) Send booking confirmations, updates, and refund notifications via email and SMS; (c) Provide customer support; (d) Comply with legal obligations and airline requirements.
We share your data with: (a) Airlines for booking and ticketing purposes; (b) Payment processors (Razorpay) for transaction processing; (c) SMS/email service providers for notifications; (d) a third-party analytics provider, only if you accept analytics cookies, for anonymised usage data; (e) a trusted third-party service provider that powers the VimanBot chat assistant, for the text you type into the chat, which may be processed on servers outside India. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We use industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption, secure database storage, and access controls to protect your personal data.
You can ask us to access, correct, download or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent, by writing to us using the contact details below.

We acknowledge your grievance within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days.

VimanBot, our chat assistant, is powered by artificial intelligence provided by a trusted third-party service provider. The text you type into VimanBot is shared with that provider, whose servers may be located outside India, solely to generate a reply. Please do not type passport, card, Aadhaar or PAN details into the chat. VimanBot is designed not to need them. We use your chat only to answer you and to improve our service. To request access, correction or deletion of your chat data, write to our grievance officer, Pratik Satav (Escalation Head), using the contact details in the Grievance Officer section of this policy.
